This week’s newsletter is going to be brief and strictly promotional — I’m sorry! I promise I will be back next week with a stunning and delicious new recipe for you, but (un)fortunately, I am rather occupied this week because, on Sunday, January 19th, I’m throwing a Schnitzel Party in real life!! (Real life, as in outside of my home at a bar that you can come to!)

And if you live in the Bay Area (or tbh if you live far away and want to fly in (crazy, but I won’t stop you!) I would love for you to come. Like, really, really love. It would mean so much to me, and I think it’s going to be very fun. It’ll be at Casements bar in the Mission from 12-4 pm, and there will, obviously, be schnitzel, but also party potatoes and pickles and aioli and caesar salad — the full schnitz, baby! There will also be drag queens and DJs because it’s my party, and those are the things that I love.

Here is the link to RSVP — if you do it early, you get a free Irish coffee, which is both random and also fun. Also, a portion of the ticket sales will go to supporting relief efforts for the LA wildfires.

Come alone, come with friends, come alone and make some friends — you really can’t go wrong.

✨ Happy Endings: Start your evening at Happy Endings, a reading series my good friend and extremely talented poet, Hieu Minh Nguyen, will be reading at!

✨ Angels at Aunt Charlies: After Happy Endings, head to Aunt Charlies for Angels, a gorgeous drag show and Florida Man’s last before he leaves the city (sad!)

THURSDAY, 1/16:

✨ The Final Farewell Roast of Florida Man at The Stud: I’ll be kicking off the roast and sending Florida off in the meanest way I know how!

SATURDAY, 1/18:

✨ Support Mary Vice at the Princess Pageant: My favorite drag queen, and also my friend (brag) Mary Vice, is competing in the Princess Pageant at Oasis — huge week for drag and also fun!

SUNDAY, 1/19:

✨ Schnitzel Party, honey! You already know the drill — come eat, drink, dance, make some friends, and kiss a cutie. The perfect way to end the week, tbh!
